The Art Hotel Szeged is located in downtown Szeged facing directly to the Cathedral Square (Dóm tér).

The 4-storey hotel building with 35 standard rooms, 27 standard rooms with balcony, 2 barrier-free, and 3 suites and 3 de-luxe suites, - altogether in 71 units 168 guests can be accommodated. The hotel awaits the city break, theatre, art, water sports lovers and business travellers.

Rooms are equipped with two single beds- which can be placed together, safe, telephone, air conditioning, welcome tray (mineral water, coffe, tea) satellite TV and radio, hair dryer, bath-robe, and free internet access (Wi-Fi).

Guests will enjoy the mouth-watering local and French cuisine in the restaurant and on its terraces and the speciality wines and beverages in the Bars located in the lobby and in the restaurant.

The hotel provides an excellent setting for the hosting of private and business events. Guests will be welcome inside the restaurant with a planned capacity of 100 people, and two banqueting rooms will serve a further 50 and 150 guests at a time.  Small meeting rooms are also available. In the summertime the atrium will be an excellent venue for all kinds of events.

Parking lots are available in the garage for 53 cars.

In the wellness centre you will find two rooms where a range of massages are on offer, a Finnish sauna, infrared sauna,  Turkish bath and a bubble bath with a unique view to the Cathedral.

The European standard rooms are well-equipped and satisfy every demand. In the air conditioned rooms you can find a bath room, coloured television, telephone, minibar and internet access.

Our dear guests coming by car we take care of its safety in our deep garage with elevator in the hotel’s basement. It’s capacity are 7 cars (max. 2000kg/car)

With its 5 separate rooms (and its terrace during the summer), Novotel Szeged hotel has a maximum capacity of 300 guests, thus providing an opportunity to host conferences, seminars, training, weddings, product demonstrations, and family events. Our three halls - Vedres, Tisza, and Lechner - are air-conditioned, can be combined, feature natural and artificial lighting, while the two conference rooms - Dankó and Huszka - are limited to artificial lighting.

Children's discount: two 16 year-old children's accommodation and breakfast are free of charge if they stay in the same room as their parent.

Our hotel was built in 2002 on the foundations of a civilian house built 4 years after the Great Flood of 1879. Until September 2020 it was called Hotel Korona, and in September 2021 we opened it in a renewed style, with Italian-style interiors.

The delicious and varied buffet breakfast is served in a unique setting, in the beautiful vaulted cellar, more than a century old, where the rustic style of the past is combined with the youthful look of today. Fireplaces and oak tables meet colourful modern chairs, soft draperies and mood-enhancing lights. The walls also feature old coat of arms bricks.

Guests arriving by car have their own internal car park. Everything is provided for a great stay in Szeged, for a personal exploration of the city.
