Important travel information:

From Budapest Airport (Ferihegy) to Szeged

✈️ Option A: Bus + Train (Recommended)

1. Take BKK Bus 200E from Terminal 2 to Ferihegy train station.

2. At Ferihegy station, take an InterCity (IC) train to Szeged. Trains run every hour.

   • Duration: ~2 hours.

Option B: Shuttle / Transfer Service

• Arrange a door-to-door private transfer or shared shuttle from Budapest Airport to Szeged.

• Travel time: ~1.5–2.5 hours depending on traffic.

From Szeged Railway Station to the Congress Venue (Dóm tér 13)

• Dóm tér is Szeged’s main square, adjacent to the Votive Church and University buildings.

• From Szeged Railway Station:

  • Tram lines 1 or 2 → get off at Aradi vértanúk tere or Dóm tér.

  • Taxi: 5–7 minutes.

  • Walk: ~20 minutes (~1.5 km).

  • Tram/bus/trolley tickets can be bought onboard by card at a blue ticket machine

Public Transport Route from Congress Venue to the Hotel

• Walk to Széchenyi Square trolley/bus stop (8 minutes)
• Board trolley 5 / bus 71A, 60, 67Y, 70, 72, 72A
• Get off at Torontál tér stop (1 stop)
• Walk to the hotel (~6 minutes)
